Tokushinka’s plans are to work with dentists throughout the UK offering both NHS and private options at a reasonable cost providing high quality work.
Our products have already gained MHRA certification and we plan to expand the scope of worldlab Scotland; who is already being used by several dentists throughout the UK by putting the weight of Tokushinkai behind it.
We have tested the market with World Lab Scotlandfor just over a period of two years and have been pleased to note the positive feedback gained,particularly as Scottish dentists put quality and materials above cost.
It is our objective to work with these dentists, to give them a product that they will feel comfortable and confident putting in to patient’s mouths and at the same time create a fee that will allow them to work efficiently within the realms of the NHS.
One particular dentist in Scotland we have been working with raised some valuable points and on that basis we would also look to provide seminars incorporating both Japanese and top British speakers.This always creates interesting debates and intrigue and in time we would look to add laboratories within the UK where the technicians are Japanese trained in keeping with the Tokushinkai ethos.
Glasgow-based dentist, Dr. Rico Do Rego had tried many restoration services from laboratories everywhere, searching for the ideal mix of high quality and excellent service. He found that he could achieve low cost products but at a lower quality, or better levels of quality with unrealistically high prices.
His perception of what was possible changed, however when he contacted Mr. Matsumura, a dentist himself and founder of the Tokushinkai Group in Japan. Tokushinkai's laboratory arm, World Lab, provides cutting-edge products to dentists in Japan, China, the USA and Australia.
Over many months, Dr Rico Do Rego tested the full range available and developed a strong working rapport with the company. He was eager to form a team to bring Mr. Matsumura's principles and philosophy to the UK, enabling all UK dentists to benefit from such superior quality and service. The first person he sought out was founder of The G8 Group and internationally-recognised inspirational coach, Nick Dillon. A science graduate, Nick has built a career around helping people and organisations transform themselves and achieve levels of performance beyond their expectations.
